Sorana & Grant– Engagement; McMaster University – Hamilton

Don’t worry folks, I am slapping my own wrists as I type this. Once again, I am behind on blog posts! Honestly, ask any photographer, it is one of the hardest things to stay on top of. So, here I go apologizing to my blog followers, and to my clients patiently waiting for their blog to be published.

Today we back track to the end of May. Yep, that’s right. The end of May…

May 25th was a day packed with engagement sessions. 3 to be exact! The day started 2nd shooting Sorana & Grant’s engagement session for Mike Streeter Photography. We hit the road bright and early, and met Sorana and Grant at McMaster University. The most fitting setting for them to have their engagement session as they met at this gorgeous campus. When they finished school, Sorana went on to another school in NYC, and being true love birds – Grant followed, sort-of, and got himself a job in the big city of Boston.

For anyone who knows me, knows I loooove Boston. No, not just because I’ve made a ritual of attending Boston for the Marathon the past 3 years (have ran it twice too) and am going back in 2015… but, because this city is simply beautiful. The people of Boston are true warriors and such great people. Each year that I go, I fall more in love with the place that it is. It definitely holds a special place in my heart.

And… NYC? – Well, hell… who doesn’t love NYC? I’ve never been, to be honest, but I know I would love it… probably because travelling anywhere is more fun than staying at home!! Regardless, I’m envious of anyone who has had the chance to go!

Needless to say, when I heard that Sorana and Grant were living in NYC & Boston, I was excited to photograph them! More excitement came when I was told we would be headed to McMaster University for their photos – a surprising first for me! They came home to visit family and booked their engagement session while they were back. I was privileged to be apart of this photo-shoot with them, so a big thanks to Mike for having me tag along!

Enjoy some of my favourites!
