If life has taught me anything, it’s this: time is fleeting, and love is everything.

Born to Scottish roots and raised in Canada, I’ve always carried a deep reverence for history, heritage, and the stories that shape us. When I lost my dad in 2009, everything changed. I began to understand just how sacred a photograph could be and how it can hold what memory sometimes forgets. A quiet smile. The weight of a hug. The way someone loved, and was loved in return.

To me, photographs are the threads that outlast us, tying past to present to future. Years from now, someone will hold an image and feel the heartbeat of it all. The joy, the closeness, the steady presence of their people. They’ll see how deeply they were loved, and what mattered most.

With a calm presence and an instinct for the in-between, my work has a way of pressing pause on life’s fastest days. A hand on your back as you take a deep breath. The way your partner looks at you when you’re not watching. The comfort of being exactly where you’re meant to be.

These are the memories that matter. I’m all in, creating images that give you something lasting to hold onto long after the moment has passed. I’m not here to pose a perfect picture.
